Produce of Heaven

The origins of Produce of Heaven began in 2006 after the region gathered together to highlight their unique quality and range – referred to as the ‘Fairdinkum Food Campaign’.

However, it was not until June 2007 when Mark Baker led a very successful trade mission to Taiwan and then Hong Kong in August 2007 to investigate whether an opportunity existed for Tasmanian produce overseas. The success of these missions gave birth to the brand, ‘Produce of Heaven’.

The brand, ‘Produce of Heaven’ is named after the region’s pristine environment from
which all foods are nurtured. The region boasts the cleanest air in the world, rich volcanic soil, and pristine water – produce just as Mother Nature intended.

After months of research and negotiations and the success of the 2007 trade mission to Taiwan and Hong Kong, a taskforce was formed to implement the Produce of Heaven program to increase Tasmania’s export potential overseas.

In 2007-2008 to further drive Tasmania’s export potential, Produce of Heaven led further trade missions to Taiwan and Hong Kong to showcase to the international markets the depth of the Tasmanian experience.

Since 2009 Produce of Heaven has continued with market entry activities and through this identified Fresco BioFarms as their partner for future development of Produce of Heaven.
